    Morning: The Predator Patrol (4×4 Game Drive)
    Your expedition commences with a 7:00 AM pick-up from your lodge or hotel in Victoria Falls for the transfer across the Kazungula border. Upon entry into Chobe National Park, we immediately head out in an open 4×4 safari vehicle. We prioritise the morning hours for land-based tracking, as this is the optimal window to find big cats such as lions and leopards before they retreat into the dense teak forests to escape the heat. Your guide will interpret the overnight tracks in the Kalahari sands, leading you through the mopane woodlands and along the river’s edge to find herds of buffalo, giraffe, and the rare Puku antelope.

    Midday: The Riverfront Feast
    After an intensive morning in the bush, we retreat to a localised riverfront lodge for a buffet lunch. This is a time to decompress and enjoy a wide variety of hot and cold dishes, focusing on regional flavours. Please note that while a diverse buffet is included, all beverages are for your own account.

    Afternoon: The Aquatic Safari (Chobe River Boat Cruise)
    The afternoon offers a shift in perspective as we board a custom safari boat for a deep-entry into the Chobe’s liquid highway. Moving by water allows for an unparalleled, eye-level connection with the park’s giants. You will drift silently past massive pods of hippos and witness the iconic sight of breeding herds of elephants as they congregate at the water’s
    edge for their evening drink. This vantage point provides a high-definition view of Nile crocodiles basking on the banks and a vibrant array of birdlife, including the African Fish Eagle and the Malachite Kingfisher, silhouetted against the bruised-purple Botswana sky.

    Evening: Return Transfer
    Following the game drive, you will be transferred back through the Kazungula border, arriving at your Victoria Falls lodge or hotel in the early evening. You depart with a technical understanding of the river’s ecosystem and memories of a day spent in the heart of Africa’s most vibrant wildlife corridor.

Frequently Asked Questions

For travellers from many nationalities (classified as Category B), visas can be conveniently purchased upon arrival at the port of entry, such as the airport or border crossing, though cash in USD is required for payment. Single or double-entry options are available depending on your itinerary.

Certain travellers visiting both Zimbabwe and Zambia qualify for the KAZA Uni-Visa (currently US$50 and available to citizens of over 65 countries), which is highly recommended as it grants access to both nations for up to 30 days with multiple entries, and even permits day trips to Botswana (but not overnight stays);

In contrast, some nationalities (Category C) are required to apply for an eVisa or process their visa through an embassy in advance.

Neutral-coloured, lightweight clothing is recommended. Bring sunscreen, insect repellant, a hat, sunglasses, and a camera. Don’t forget your passport, as it is mandatory for the border crossing.
