  • Day 1 - Experience Zambezi River banks

    Transfer from Livingstone International Airport

    You will be picked from the airport and be transferred to you perfect accommodation by the river banks of the Zambezi. The Victoria Falls Waterfront is the perfect place to stay in Livingstone, centrally located in between Livingstone town and The Victoria Falls Rain-forest. The lodge boasts fantastic facilities catering to a traveller’s every need including a riverside restaurant and bar with stunning views over the Zambezi River – the perfect spot for a sun-downer.

  • Day 2 - Livingstone Experience

    Livingstone Island Tour

    This morning, enjoy a boat excursion to Livingstone Island. During this morning trip, if it’s sunny day, the rainbows are just incredible. Now is your chance to jump into the Devils Pool if you wish, this is not compulsory and is only if you feel comfortable. Once back on Livingstone Island you will be treated to either breakfast. Your boat then whisks you back to the mainland at the launch site then be transferred back to your hotel.

    Guided Victoria Falls Rainforest Tour Zambia side

    Learn about the Victoria Falls and everything that surrounds this great world wonder in a guided tour of the falls on the Zambian side. On a guided Victoria Falls tour, you will learn how this magnificent world wonder was formed. Around late September, October, November and December the falls in Zambia become little rivulets running over the edge and in some places no water falls at all, this is when a dry rock face appears; because of this it best to view the boiling pot. The Boiling Pot trail takes you on a steep descent into the Boiling Pot, and another path takes you upstream close to the edge of the Falls, looking onto the Zambezi River before it plummets over the edge and into the gorge. Other vantage points include the Falls bridge and the Lookout Tree.

Your vehicle will pass through the iconic Victoria Falls Bridge after immigration formalities of the Zambia side. Enjoy a unique perspective of the gorge and the Zambezi River as you travel between the two nations. Your driver will assist with the necessary immigration and visa formalities on Zimbabwe side, ensuring a smooth and effortless transition. You will then be delivered to the Zimbabwe side were another driver will be awaiting you, perfectly positioned to continue your adventure.

    Guided Victoria Falls Rainforest Tour Zimbabwe Side

    Before you get to be transferred to your lodge prepare to be captivated by a guided walking tour of Victoria Falls from Zimbabwe side. Our expert local guides will lead you through the lush rainforest, a unique ecosystem sustained by the perpetual spray from the falls. As you follow the well-maintained paths, you’ll feel the cool mist on your face and hear the thunderous roar of the Zambezi River cascading into the gorge. Your guide will take you to 16 key vantage points, each offering a distinct and breathtaking perspective of the falls, from the Devil’s Cataract to the Main Falls and beyond. Frequently Asked Questions

For travellers from many nationalities (classified as Category B), visas can be conveniently purchased upon arrival at the port of entry, such as the airport or border crossing, though cash in USD is required for payment. Single or double-entry options are available depending on your itinerary.

Certain travellers visiting both Zimbabwe and Zambia qualify for the KAZA Uni-Visa (currently US$50 and available to citizens of over 65 countries), which is highly recommended as it grants access to both nations for up to 30 days with multiple entries, and even permits day trips to Botswana (but not overnight stays);

In contrast, some nationalities (Category C) are required to apply for an eVisa or process their visa through an embassy in advance.

Malaria: Antimalarial tablets are highly recommended. Please consult your doctor or a travel clinic for the most suitable prophylactic (medication) for you.

Yellow Fever: A Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate is only required if you are arriving from, or have transited for more than 12 hours through, a country with a risk of Yellow Fever transmission. Zimbabwe is not on the risk list, so you only need the certificate if you are coming from a listed country.

Comfortable, casual, and practical clothing is best.

  • For the Falls: A rain poncho or jacket is essential for the spray (high water season). Wear clothes that dry quickly.
  • For Safaris/Game Drives: Neutral colours (khaki, brown, olive, grey) are best for blending in. Pack layers, as mornings and evenings can be quite cool, even in summer. A fleece or light jacket is recommended.
  • General: Comfortable walking shoes, a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, swimwear, and good quality sunscreen and insect repellent are essential.

The US Dollar (USD) is the dominant and most widely accepted currency.

  • Zimbabwe: Prices for tourists are usually quoted in USD. Have small denominations ($1s, $5s, $10s) for tips and local markets. The local currency (ZWL) is less useful for tourists. Credit/Debit Cards (Mastercard/Visa) are widely accepted at major hotels and activity operators.
  • Zambia: The local currency is the Zambian Kwacha (ZMW), but USD is also accepted for tourist services.
  • Botswana: The local currency is the Pula (BWP), but USD is widely accepted for tourism.
