Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up, leaving the city lights behind for an approximate 80km journey northeast of Maun. The drive itself is a fascinating transition, culminating as we pass through the famous buffalo fence—the gateway to a truly wild and protected ecosystem. Once at the national park entrance you will be treated with teas and coffees. Once inside, your safari begins. Moremi is a land of dramatic contrasts, where your game drive will take you on a journey from arid, mopane woodlands to lush, vibrant wetlands. This is where the life-giving effect of the Okavango floodwaters is on full display, creating a sanctuary for an astonishing array of wildlife and a paradise for birders. Our expert professional guide, with their intimate knowledge of the area, will navigate this diverse landscape in search of unforgettable sightings. The grasslands are home to immense herds of plains game, including the graceful impala, unique tsessebe, and powerful buffalo, alongside wildebeest, elephant, and zebra. As we approach the floodplains, a different world emerges. The wetland areas are home to the semi-aquatic red lechwe, as well as waterbuck, hippos, and crocodiles—all perfectly adapted to their watery world. This incredible abundance of prey makes Moremi a prime hunting ground, attracting magnificent predators like lions, elusive cheetahs, and the highly sought-after wild dogs. For travellers from many nationalities (classified as Category B), visas can be conveniently purchased upon arrival at the port of entry, such as the airport or border crossing, though cash in USD is required for payment. Single or double-entry options are available depending on your itinerary.

Certain travellers visiting both Zimbabwe and Zambia qualify for the KAZA Uni-Visa (currently US$50 and available to citizens of over 65 countries), which is highly recommended as it grants access to both nations for up to 30 days with multiple entries, and even permits day trips to Botswana (but not overnight stays);

In contrast, some nationalities (Category C) are required to apply for an eVisa or process their visa through an embassy in advance.

Malaria: Moremi is considered a malaria risk area. Antimalarial tablets are highly recommended. Please consult your doctor or a travel clinic for the most suitable prophylactic (medication) for you.

Yellow Fever: A Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate is only required if you are arriving from, or have transited for more than 12 hours through, a country with a risk of Yellow Fever transmission.
