Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival & The Chobe Riverine Ballet

Your expedition commences with a seamless transfer from Kasane International Airport to the refined Tlou Safari Lodge. Positioned at the crossroads of four nations, this lodge serves as your gateway to one of the most wildlife-dense regions on the planet.Prime Sunset Boat Cruise
As the afternoon heat softens, we board a custom safari boat for a deep-entry into the Chobe River’s liquid highway. This is the golden hour for photographers; witness massive pods of hippos claiming their territory with thunderous yawns and Nile crocodiles basking on the banks. The highlight is the
Chobe Elephant Ballet, where breeding herds congregate at the water’s edge to drink and play against a backdrop of a bruised-purple African sky. It is a sensory introduction to a river that sustains more elephants than anywhere else on Earth.Day 2 - Chobe Immersion & Wilderness Safari
From the lodge the day begins on the jetty with steaming teas and coffees as the mist lifts off the papyrus. Your morning boat safari offers a unique aquatic perspective, gliding past swimming elephants and spotting the rare African Skimmer or the iconic Fish Eagle. After a premium buffet lunch, the perspective shifts to a custom 4×4 for a game drive along the riverfront’s alluvial floodplains. This fertile corridor is an absolute hotspot for predators; with expert guidance, you will track prides of lions on the hunt and the elusive leopard draped in the branches of a leadwood tree.

Day 3 - Sunrise Game Drive & Transit to the Kalahari
We depart at first light for a predator patrol in an early morning game drive. The cool morning air is the optimal window to catch big cats active before they retreat into the Kalahari thickets. Following a hearty breakfast, we begin our journey south towards Elephant Sands, a private 16,000-hectare conservancy. Upon arrival, you face a choice of high-impact encounters. You may head out on an optional afternoon game drive to track desert-adapted specialists like the honey badger or the brown hyena. Alternatively, find a seat at the lodge’s famous waterhole restaurant. Here, fences do not exist; you sit mere metres away from wild elephant bulls as they emerge from the dust to drink.
Observing the sheer scale and deep, resonant stomach rumbles of these Giants of the Kalahari at such intimate range is a humbling experience that few other places on the continent can offer.Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

herbivore. It is a rhythmic, peaceful immersion into the Kalahari's subtler details. We journey further west to Maun, the safari capital of Botswana. You will notice the landscape transform from the scorched-earth beauty of the pans to the lush, greener fringes of the Thamalakane River.
