Day 1 - Welcome to Kasane
Airport Transfer
Your safari adventure begins this afternoon with a transfer from Kasane International Airport to Tlou Safari Lodge, which will be your home for the next two nights.
Boat Cruise
After you have checked in, you will be picked up for an afternoon boat cruise on the Chobe River. This three-hour cruise offers a unique opportunity to view the park from a new perspective. The riverbanks are a magnet for wildlife, and you’ll get up-close views of large pods of hippos and sunbathing crocodiles. This is also the best way to witness Chobe’s famed elephant herds as they swim and drink along the shore. As the sun begins to set, enjoy a sundowner while watching the magnificent golden light cast its glow over the African landscape. With over 460 bird species, the Chobe River is a paradise for birdwatchers, offering sightings of a spectacular array of aquatic birds. You might even be fortunate enough to glimpse a lion or a leopard coming down to the water’s edge. After the cruise, you will be returned to your lodge.
Day 2 - Experience Chobe on Land and Water
Chobe Day trip
Your incredible full-day trip begins with a morning pick-up. Upon arrival at the check-in office you will be welcomed with coffee and tea before embarking on your first adventure. The day starts with a thrilling 2.5-hour boat cruise along the Chobe River. This is a fantastic opportunity to get up close to the park’s famous wildlife, including huge herds of elephants, large pods of hippos, and numerous crocodiles. You’ll also be captivated by the abundance of incredible birdlife along the riverbanks. The morning cruise concludes at approximately 12:30 PM with a delicious lunch served on the banks of the Chobe River. After lunch, it’s time for an exhilarating afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle. Explore the Chobe Riverfront and its inner roads, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot a diverse array of wildlife, including the predators that call this incredible place home. This is often an unforgettable game-viewing experience. As the day comes to an end, you will be transferred back to your lodge, where you can relax and prepare for your dinner.

Day 3 - Farewell Kasane
Early morning game drive
On your final day, you will be picked up early in the morning for your last game drive in Chobe National Park. This is an ideal time to explore the park, as animals are most active during the cool, crisp morning hours. A three to four-hour drive in an open-air safari vehicle will take you through the lush landscapes, offering a final opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for shy and elusive creatures, as well as the park’s iconic elephant herds as they make their way to the Chobe River for their first drink of the day. After the game drive, you will be returned to the lodge for a final breakfast before your transfer to Kasane Airport for your onward journey.

After breakfast you’ll be transferred to Kasane Airport for your onward journey. As you depart, you’ll take with you a lifetime of memories from one of Africa’s most remarkable safari destinations.
